Alrighty,
I was researching tents for some time before deciding to purchase a Gorilla tent.. I liked in particular the heavy duty materials and sturdy frame... So I went with a larger model, the 5 x 9. After receiving the tent, I began assembling it..Only to find that one of the corner pieces was from a different tent (smaller diameter, used looking) so I proceeded to contact the seller(I bought the item off of the internet) and tell them the situation.. They said they would contact Gorilla and take care of it for me, and even throw in a couple t shirts for the inconvenience.. SO that was ok, I waited to receive the new corner piece and t shirts and when the package arrived I proceeded to fully erect the tent.. Now I find that the right side viewing window had not been sewn properly on a small portion of the bottom right side of the viewing window where the velcro is attached.. At this point I was getting frustrated.. I decided to contact the seller again and they, not surprisingly, were disinterested in the situation at that point, so I decided to contact the folks at Gorilla myself.. I finally got a hold of someone through their website and let them know the situation.. They offered to ship me out a new tent, but I had already erected this one, so I asked him what the shipping would cost them both ways and they told me about 100 dollars, so I told the salesman to just send me the 100 dollars in paypal and I would repair the tent myself.. they agreed to it and returned the 100 dollars as promised... The experience was not great, but they are willing to work with you down at Gorilla. I ended up getting the tent for under 600 dollars! I promised the guy I would give him a good review, this is the best I can do considering the circumstances... I love the tent.. though I still haven't repaired it yet
