looking for a silent fan capable of pushing a scrubber

There is no such thing as a silent fan. The more capable they are of pushing through a filter, the more noise they make.

With 100watts of lighting, you may be able to make do with Panasonic Whisperfans esp with a fish tank to take the fall. First thing people do in my garage is ask, "What the hell is that noise?" Then they follow it to a banged up old freezer and forget about it. Show them the noise and the noise disappears.

I've heard good things about that WhisperFan. I personally feel like you're better off always going for overkill with ventilation and odor control and then using a FSC to dial it down/insulated ducting/sound baffling/etc. to cut down on the noise, rather than going with an underpowered fan and trying to adapt it. That way you can plan for the future in case you ever decide to step up to some HID lighting or even just add more fluoros... but that's just me :tiphat:

I've been using the 110 cfm bathroom exhaust fan (panasonic whisper quiet ) for about 15 months now with 0 problems . its in my cabinet blowing through a can 9000 on the outside (on top ) its pretty quiet , as long as i have a fan in my room where the box is you can't tell theres noise coming from the box . when i first hooked it up the cabinet was a flowering cabinet with a 250 watt hps & it kept it cool enough even during the summer months . now its my cloning & veg box but still works great 15 months later :)

you can make fans really quiet if ya got lots of room. inline fan, speed control. duct silencer. put fan in box with padding seal shut.= silent fan.

Speed control, insulated ducting, filter, muffler, and fan isolation box left my Elicent (the single most quiet centrifugal fan then on the market) clearly audible at my neighbors door across the street.

Assuming you meant centrifugal (any type of fan can be "inline") they scream like banshees with their tails on fire. And thats after 5X silencing.
