looking for a potent strain done by mid october

hey everyone,hope everyone grows are going great!

i would like to know if there are any good seed strains,fems preferred,that are potent and have some mold resistance for 45n lat,central ontario...

i have grown critical+,schnazzleberry#2 and wifi with success,the wifi was the best.....

i hear blue widow and critical yumbolt do well outdoors....

anyone have one or more "go to" strains for outdoors?

Exodus Kush and Kosher Kush from DNA, Dinachem by Dinafem, Northern Lights x Big Bud from World of seeds. I'm at the same lat as you and have grown these strains outside with great success.

GHS White Widow, Dinafem White Widow, Royal Queen White Widow all potent and finished by mid-October. I have grown lots of others with a good turn out, just those were the most potent. GG#4 can come down mid-oct and still be really nice and potent. If you can get a clone of it.

To me it seems like this year Most in idica hybrids will finish mid October imo, most of my strains are almost finished streching, a full 2 weeks earlier than usual = early-mid October finish

My train wreck and banana kush are already forming buds now, early imo

how good was the mold resistance for the NLxBB? i got 3 free seeds of that as freebies but i havent used them yet.

You're a bit farther north than most, so add some time to finishing dates advertised by breeders.

Find strains advertised as finishing end of September and you'll be right on target (if not a little early). Early finishers are plentiful, make sure you pick the vigorous ones.

EastBay, what is your latitude? Stretch should not be over for you. In my experience, stretch begins ~7 days after ~14.25 hours of day length has been reached. I.e. 7 days after flowering hormones are released.

From then, stretch usually lasts about 4 or 5 weeks. We are at a similar latitude and my stretch period is only beginning.

It is. Prolly my favorite outdoor strain I have grown out of 50+ strains. Soon as I have money to blow, I'm getting more seeds of it.

Here's the biggest plant I had of it outside(behind the 5 gal pail) It was a 4" tall clone when it went into the 18 gal. tote it was in.

Well I know my train wreck and banana lush are done stretching for sure, buds starting to form, they will get wider but not any taller.

I do have other varieties like cookie frost, Bubba kush a few others that are still showing leaf devolpment, maybe one more week max.

Atleast everyone I know have reported that stretch came early this year in norcal. If my plants still have 2+ weeks of stretch then God help me cause I only got another foot or so before they go over the 6' fence...

But like I've said before, these are good problems to have

Thanks. It was awesome smoke. Super potent, tasted awesome, and the smell was unreal. A local was getting it from me, and moving it at a local bar. My wife went to the bar and said the whole bar smelled like it.

The guy moving it doesn't know my wife. So a bar patron goes up to my wife, and says "if you want the good shit, get it from that guy over there" She chuckled inside, because she knew that it was mine. She knew what the dude looked like, but he didn't know her.

Mold resistance was ok. Some of it did mold, but that fall was an extremely wet one anyways. Bag appeal was off the hook, most people wanted the Exodus Kush over 10 other strains. That was from just looking at it thru the jar. Once the jar was open it was a wrap, the picked it every time.

I might buy 6 feminized seeds and pop 4 Exodus Kush next year.

Plant looks all sorts of fun to cultivate.

First year i did 5 different Genetics that where all different sizes when put outdoors & that was a pain in the ass to feed all of them simultaneously from my 300gal res.

This year I'm doing 1 genetic all the same size for a little easier season.

Next year I'll probably do 3 genetics, 4 plants each.
Thinking my Cream Strain, Exodus Kush, then good ol' Trainwreck.

Exodus looks like it would thrive up on my hillside.

I don't wanna mis-lead you into thinking just plopped a 4" clone into that tote, and it turned into the plant in that pic. I was visiting those plants just about every day.

Shit I spent 2 hours or more on that plant, stripping the bottoms, and insides. Not to mention the 5-10 mins it got each day when I went to visit.

The pheno I got helped a lot too. It was luck of the draw from a single feminized freebie. Plus I had 2" holes in the bottom of the tote, so the roots went right thru. It was like Velcro pulling it up after harvest.
