Looking for a new home...

Hey hey friends.

I am looking to move to an island. I prefer something tropical to semi tropical. Looking for favorable laws when it comes to our herb. I would prefer English as the most common language. Someplace with todays tehnologies as far as internet and power and such. I would like to find a place where the cost of living is inexpensive too. I need somewhere that welcomes new citizens easily.
Any suggestions where I should be doing some research would be appreciated.

Singapore is a develped island with lots of English and sun. They have the death penalty for trafficking so that's probably not the greatest.

Indonesia is good. Bali, although there are lots of tourists.

You can just about get around anywhere in the world with English. You don't have to speak the countries first language to be able to get what you need to get done in most cases.

Thailand is good. Vietnam is cheap. All are gorgeous. I'm partial to southeast Asia just because I use to live there.

Check out St. Kitts, its an island in the Caribbean and my friend has been there and said he loved it there. You can't build a house taller then the palm trees im pretty sure. And everyone smokes herb there.

The Canary Islands, probably not the cheapest place, but cannabis friendly (spain laws) and beautiful weather.

It sounds funny but the Philipine Islands come to mind. You might think to yourself "people speak English in the P.I??" but YES they speak English over there. You have tropical weather, the American Dollar still holds value, but the roads are unpaved and they have corrupt politicians.

They hit the nail on about 70% of what your looking for. It's a give and take in this situation. Other than the Philipines, your next best bet is suicide and tell GOD I said hello when you're in Heaven. You basically described the pearly gates!

Yeah I gotta agree with SoCaliSmoker on this one..the closest thing I can of to your description is the Philippines, because when you've got a $1, you can get 46-47 pesos. They speak English, they love English-speaking people, and you can get the same technology since they are so close to Japan.

Think of the tropical weather pattern, though. It might take some getting used to, if you aren't used to it already.
