Of all the places on this site you choose the smoke report forum to post a non cannabis question. Weird.

Word on Craigslist... I have purchased 2 sweet cars and a classic motorcycle for CMEMORY!
In fact I am on it now in my area... just looking, cause you never know what is going to pop up for sale ;)
Interesting question though..... and still only one post from the user... is this the new form of REVERSE SPAM!!!!!

Acuras have timing belts, like a lot of other cars, and have to be changed every 100k. It is a expensive procedure, about a grand.

So make sure that it already has been done when buying a Acura or Lexus.

Nissan uses timing chains, so no need for that expensive service. I have owned a Acura, Lexus and Nissan/Infiniti and love the Nissan.

If you want a car that will last forever, get a 97-99 Nissan Maxima or Infiniti I30. Both cars have no problem going 300k miles, if taken care of properly. Probably in the 5-6k range.

If you are looking for something more expensive. The 98-05 Lexus GS300 is a great car, and can be had for 10-15k.

cars.com is where I have found two of my current vehicles.
