Some truth to this, many long flowering pure "sativas" tend have a much longer lasting effect than shot flowering "indicas", but this isn't a rule.

I love all the urban legends about growing weed! The high depends on the strain mostly.

What it means is don't harvest too early. Harvesting early is the easiest thing you can do. Don't do it. Harvesting late can be very rewarding.

Harvesting late can also have a negative effect also. Read those links messn put out there. There is kind of a sweet spot to harvest in, not early but also not too late either, the cannibinoids start to decay.
