Location, location, location

Hi, since I'm new to outdoor growing I have to ask about the best locations for growing. I live in a suburb where there's virtually buildings on every square inch. I thought about a park but then I have to worry about park employees.

I have two prerequisites as of now: water and sun. There has to be some security related issues that I'm overlooking.
>How close to the nearest dwelling can my grow be located?
>How far should I be from my water source?
>Stealth: what level should I use? Wear camos, or just dress regularly, visit my plot at night only?
>How about planting on private property? In an inconspicous place?
Any knowledge you can give me is much, much appreciated.

The best thing to do is drive to a better location away from the suburbs. If you insist on growing in suburbia I would look for places where they have set aside land for flood plains.

Every suburbia area has these and they are usually next to natural made drainage ditches or small streams. These areas are set aside ( left alone) to give all the water a place to run off. If you get lucky some of them are fenced in to keep out the riffraff.

My second choice depending on how old you area is would be old industrial sites. Many times these places bought a large tract of land because it was cheap in the 1930's but they never did anything with it. I am 100% guerrilla grower but I have had some luck in these industrial waste lands. Look for these areas around older manufacturing sites. I live in a very old city/town 150K people and we have many of these. Remember electricity( 3 phase power) is a relatively new invention and many of these old industrial sites were located near a water way for power purposes.

Again my number one recommendation is become an outdoors man. Use google earth and search out private land that is adjacent to parks, state owned land, forest preserves. This gives you a reason to be there and allows access to the private land via the public land. Google parks and forest preserves in your aera and then use google earth to scout them out. If it looks promising always go in person and spend quality time investigating the area.

It helps if you enjoy the outdoors. PEACE

I dont know, in Get off My Lawnville, I would lean towards indoor, unless you wish to drive to the woods. Reason this out well brother

Yes, Safety First. Get out of town (or grow indoor). Too many people and way too many cameras.
