local cops going through dumpster

saw the pig diging in the dumpster in the shopping plaza next to my old apt as i was moving out. it appeared he also was diging through the dumpster in my apt complex, infront of my unit.

i obviousely throw away no mj parts/clippings/leafs/stems/stumps/etc
but did throw away a hydro store flyer that was left on my car, into my trash can/bag and saw it removed from my bag(i had put in the dumpster the night before), but laying on the top of the dumpster.

the bag contained the usual trash, old food, wrapers, junk mail, i was worried, and i obviously couldnt do anything after the fact. he did appear to tear through the dumpster well though, not a bag untouched.

as i said no plant parts. had a bag of leafs thrown in there, but there from a maple tree and were on my patio.

unfortunately i did leave a forwarding addy (po box) w/ my old apt complex (to send my deposite money to)

strange situation...
maybe its normal, im not sure, my town is one of thoes that really bust ass on anyone for anything.

anyone see this type of dumpster diving?

You know how those cops are always bitching about not being paid enough money. The current state of the economy must really be taking a toll on those poor bastards. If I catch one dumpster diving in my trash I will go outside and give him sandwich & a couple of bucks for a donut & cup of coffee!

Haha...this reminded me of a story...
I was living in a gang infested street in Garden Grove, and was watching the kids for friends in the apt across the way...and seen this cop creeping...so I go out and ask him why he is looking in their window...he asked me if I had been drinking...lol...and I said yes....so what, I just walked out my front door--
He fucked with me for a minute, never telling me why he was looking in the window...so I tell him that there is something dead in our dumpster...been smelling it for 2 days....maybe a dog or cat...maybe "somebody"-- Then I went in my house-- About 20 minutes later, a neighbor was telling me about this cop looking through the dumpster....got all dirty and shit...then threw a fit when he found a bag full of fish-heads...and left--

haha GGPD they had that mj case there trying to get recinded if i remember correctly....(cops had to give herb back to the guy, SCORE!)

I'm not trying to freak you out, but that cop's interested in something in those buildings. I'm not in Cali mind you, but this happened to a buddy - he was raided about 2 weeks later - all he had was a blunt roach LOL.

I have serious doubts that they would search several dumpsters for a hydro ad--
Cops searching in a dumpster outside your pad is scary...no doubt-- But if you figure in all the other tenants..the odds change--
Be aware...but don't be scared-- If so....sell cars for a living--

yea i did.

it seamed so harmless at first.

probably a strech though, especialy since he left the ad, he should have taken it for prints. if he were after a grower.

i did used to throw away leafs and big bags of clippings etc. but from diging in this forum ive found that wasnt exactly smart. now on ill be composting them, under other dead things in the pile. rather then blending them with water and dumping them down the garbage disposal. post hash of course.

its always funny stockpileing branches into a corner of the closet...

so from now on no more hydro flyers!

thanks man, im very observant to small details, the big complex i use as a shield, because there is 450 units there alot of mixing, i do smell the burning mj walking through the complex to do laundry, go to the gym, or pool etc. so i make sure my window is closed and i use a carbon filter in my living room to hide my big sessions.

yea he is, thats why i was worried. he can get my trash but theres nothing incriminating for me in there.

i was thinking the oriental cooking place was throwing oil in the dumpster, an EPA violation. but i was suprised to see he had russled through my local dumpster, its actualy a group of 3, 1 recycle. cops around this snobby town dont strike me as doingthis without cause.

i was laughing tomyself that maybe on of the other 450 units had someone dumping mj trash, there is about 30 dumpsters in my complex so i know he didnt dig them all.

I'm of the opinion that if they really wanted to catch someone in the complex, they would have scooped up the trash and taken it someplace else to sort through. Because wouldn't that alert whoever they're after, if the suspect(s) sees cops digging through their dumpster? Unless their surveillance told them the suspect was away at the time, but who's to say a neighbor wouldn't say something to the suspect - hey, i saw a cop going through our dumpster earlier?
Then again, maybe the cop didn't feel like taking an entire dumpster's worth of trash elsewhere and just wanted to look at it right then and there... But still, makes me wonder if the cops had already busted whoever they were after and were just looking for more evidence to collect...

hey DH, what type of dumpster? is it one of those large construction dumpsters or just one of those small units with plastic flip up lids?

I take it this cop was in his uniform with his car parked nearby? Patrolmen usually dont do investigations from my knowledge. Detectives typically tend to try and stay business casual, or in covert cases they will try and blend in as a normal civilian...

so judging by that, i think this cop was just looking for some scrap metal.... supercops though my friend, you never know what they could be looking for.

but for the record:

i mash all my leaves and trim up in bubblebags then flush the mush... stems get chopped up and scattered throughout a wooded area...

Dude thats how oinkers busted my friend.. He got caught slipping and left a long stem with a receipt from store with his name=warrant=jail... If you left forward address then i would chill for a while and check out what happens.. As long as they dont find any MJ parts with your info in same trash then they cant get warrant.. They follow people home from the grow shops.. When I go ( which I never do anymore ) I make mulitptle stops out side of the county that the shop is in and drop off goods at bros place.. Youd think that they have better things to do like arrest real criminals.
