Lizards in grow room..

I live in the southeast and I keep finding these little green anole lizards in my grow room. About one or two a week. I know they don't eat plants and keep bugs away, but do I need to make a serious effort to keep them out? It's getting cold where I live and I know they are just seeking a little heat to stay alive, but will they damage or contaminate buds? I feel bad evicting them into what will be certain death in a few weeks. I haven't seen any damaged buds or broken branches, but I also don't want a lizard colony developing. It's a perfect environment for them as far as heat and humidity; I find them sunning themselves on top of top colas looking like "don't tase me bro!!"

I don't know your answer, but the first thing to come to my mind was they could carry some sort of mite or something into the room.

I bet they do look cool though, in the don't tase me bro stance.

ha ha let em stay... when I lived in the keys I had 2 lizards that lived behind a huge framed picture I had on the wall...once in a while they would run out and start eating the ants that were always making my life miserable...they would go right down the ant line and munch em up...then run back behind the picture...never had any issues with them on my plants they pretty much went wherever they wanted...I always wondered where their shit went but never found any on my buds ect....no plant damage ....yeehaw... I believe they were a couple...

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. They'll also provide entertainment. Make sure they have a water source [no nutes] that they won't fall into and drown. -granger

Yea they do look pretty cool; when they know you saw them they try and camouflage into the same green as the plants they are on. The look on their faces is "aw, fuck..i hope this mofo didn't see me." I decided to let them live, I bought some freeze dried crickets and filled a little dish with water. I'll buy a terrarium if I keep seeing them and donate them to my daughters school, they are looking for a class pet and a vivarium will be a nice learning experience.

1 easy way to catch a few lizards in a tent or sealed room :

Especially as the colder times come, is to lay a heat mat out with some nice cover for them to hide in.

Turn it on thru coldest part of the night.
Rig a simple box so you can trap the little guys in the morning before lights on.

Also works on snakes. Of that i'm sure. Especially when the cooler temperatures are here

For snakes, you will need an appropriate sized 1/2 open backpack stuffed with a few towels and an a electric warmer set on low. Set in a corner, closet with door ajar or under a table. in morning zip it up and Then you can release them.

Usually a snake will Shit and or Vomit on you while they strike.
Assuming you try and handle them while they feel threatened. Be sure to have a friend with a camera handy if that's what you plan to do.
