Living in National Forest Lands

I have a question about my mmj and Federal lands (Stanislaus National Forest)http://maps.google.com/maps/place?c...ew:smartmaps&ei=_Td-T9jwCMeUiQK046mTCg&dtab=2. Am I ok at my house or am I committing a crime when I come here from the bay area?

Feds don't care about state sanctioned cannabis... especially when you're in a federally controlled space, like a national forest.

no dude just double vacuum seal your shit till you get there. put it in a black bag, then put that vacuum seal that with a pair of rubber gloves on and they vac seal it again and wear a new pair of rubber gloves. this is to prevent getting anything on the outside bag. then put it in a an old box that has been mailed to you and post marked. then put it in a locked suitcase. them put that in your locked trunk. It really is not that much trouble. It will take ten minutes.

To find your weed they would need to violate your 4th amendment rights 5 separate times and get 4 separate warrants. Also it is illegal for them to detain you to bring a drug dog. You are with in your full rights to request your traffic ticket and let be on your way.

Do you actually own the property, or is it a lease? I personally would consult an attorney specifically because we're talking about federal lands here, and, well, these are the feds we're talking about.

In fact, I'm a little confused about your question overall. Is it that you own (or lease?) a home that's within National Forest lands, or that you just want to visit?

I own a cabin past Arnold, CA. It is just a second home. We visit when we have time. I am just worried about driving thru now.

Ah, ok. That's actually not terribly far from me (as the crow flies). I think the precautions mentioned above should suffice. I regularly have to drive through national forest lands, and I always have my meds with me, haven't ever had a problem. HOWEVER, the caveat there is that I am rarely pulled over or have contact with police.
