Looks like a winged aphid.

:yeahthats

I would start an IPM program and do periodic foliar sprays at least once a week to keep things in check. Hit them hard with something right now though as you have a pretty bad infestation. I would hit them hard two or 3 times, 3 days apart and then begin your once a week spray. Try emulsified neem oil sprays and then maybe pick up the essential oil blend from build a soil to alternate with the neem.

I am in the middle of flower inside a greenhouse 25x50. With 12' plants hard to spray ...released 9000 ladybugs this morning. ..do you think that will do any good

Against spider mites? They will probably eat some but in my experience they don't go after them first. I think they will go after thrips and other things first but might snack on spider mites. If you are worried about it I would invest my money in predator mites.

I'd use pyrethrum on the aphids in flower, plan on reapplying every few days for 4-5 treatments. bottoms and tops of leaves for good coverage.

I don't see spider mites. This confuses me.

I had a brainfart and was thinking Bewarned was a different poster asking about a different pest. Here is some info regarding ladybugs and aphids.

Let the ladybugs do their thing. A plant strain can't build a tolerance to something it's never had. Not all things that happen in a grow room are bad in the long run. Its how you want to look at it. Go Ladybugs!!! Peace

Don't spray anything with the ladybugs. They're insects like aphids, if it kills aphids it will probably kill the ladybugs. Once the ladybugs lay the next generation and the larvae appear they'll do the real damage.
Be sure you know what the larvae look like so you don't think you have another pest. I've seen a couple guys on here killing ladybug larvae because they don't look anything like their parents. They're black with six legs and a long wide tail. They love munching aphids.
