Little Known Feature in Firefox 6 To Increase Security

Hi guys.

I updated to Firefox 6 today and I discovered a feature you won't find by looking through the menus.

If you go to your address bar and type in:

about:permissions

you will get a menu that allows you to set individual permissions for different websites. So, for example, you could set your system to reject ALL cookies, and then go into the about:permissions page, locate ICMAG.COM and allow cookies from just ICMAG (or any site you like.)

Thought it would be useful and I wanted to pass it along to you all.

I 've just found that Windows 7 allows you to upload pics WITHOUT sending the pics' "properties" (source information ... like the pc owner's name).
not sure ... not yet a full bottle ... but pics you want to mail anonymously MAY first have to be sent to 'Documents' and the necessary alterations done there. (right click on chosen file ... dropdown shows "properties" at bottom of list.)
Cheers!

I'm pretty sure that ICMag strips all EXIF data off incoming images, but I'm a semi-paranoid type so I do it myself on all images that I upload, via Adobe Photoshop's "Save-For-Web" option.

For those who don't have photoshop, this is excellent news!

An easy hosting site that strips all EXIF data on upload is imgur.com - extremely easy to use, literally drag & drop the pic(s) onto the main site and click upload.

It was made for reddit, so it can easily deal with any amount of traffic icmag is going to throw at it.

just by the way, I have noticed at least one member will not post pics (even of his sick plants) because of his concern that even icmag will know his name!
hmmm. must be a commercial grower. naughty, naughty.
