Little creature's

:fsu: Day : 56 of flower....I notice some leaves looking shiny and almost wet...upon further inspection I find this..

little green creature's, which I suspect to be immature aphid's. they where green with two probe's sticking out the back end....I'm really not sure what they are..? :fsu: they look black in the photo, but that's what a lighter does to them... they were only on one limb...which has been removed...I'm so closenow I don't need a freaking bug problem...Any Idea's greatly appreaciated....

Yes, they do appear to be aphids. Use a strong spray of water to knock them off the leafs. The plants don't have much longer to go, you should be able to minimize leaf damage with regular blasts of water to keep them off the plant.
Good luck.

but if your blasting your plants with water you will want to be wary of mold seeing as you are so late in flowering

If you are careful, mold should not be an issue. Blast the leafs with water early in the day and shake as much as you can off the buds. Shaking the plants will also help knock the aphids off and the sun should dry the buds out fairly quickly, just don't spray them at night.

If you don't want to use water you could just pick/ wipe the aphids off with your fingers, but there are usually a lot of them and you will miss some. With a good blast of water you will get rid of more of them.

Ok Blackvelvet that's it to a tee....Are those thrip's..?And if so how do you rid plant's so close to flower without damage..Or aphid's ,spider mite's...ect...ect.... I'll do more research to see what I can find.....seem's I have a mite problem too....!

lynz420.....Blasting the plant with water ....? don't I risk trichome loss or damage..harvest is like a few week's away...less for some...?

rkrone.....good looking out bro...! what's your solution to the insect problem....?

goto a place where they sell canned compressed air for computers and use that to blow them off instead of water so you dont get any rot going. keep in mind that the air will be cold so back it off enough to blast the bugs off but not close enough to freeze the stock, short bursts will work.

Betty, they are ahpids.

When are you harvesting? I'd take the advice above and spray em off and make sure your plants dry.

If you go a couple more weeks there are some pretty safe insecticides for aphids that can be used near the very end. Only a suggestion for an extreme aphid infestation if you refuse to cut early.

^^^ Great advice from Northern Farmer. Neem Py (neem pyrethrin mix) works very well on aphids. Can be used on herbs up to day of harvest- very safe. If you can't shake them, and have a little ways to go till harvest, you might try and find some around local garden/nursery stores! Good luck

Alrighty then, I'll get some safer yard & garden for the aphid's.....As for spider mite's it's said to raise the humidity in the room, ? but how much and for how long...I put a coffee pot in the room, boiled off a cup or two of water and shut the room for a few hour's.....will this help...? what's the formula......Muuuuuuuuuhahahahahahaha :kos:

And thank you Mcbean, Northern farmer, and Mycall :canabis:

If you are this late in the game the last thing I'd do is increase the humidity enough to kill bugs. Bud rot will be a bigger problem than mites!

Last thing I want is bud rot....I went and got some Safer fruit and vegetable insecticide for a multitude of critter's, about $7.00. So, no more humidity Northern Farmer.....I appreciate the help from all who responded. I'll post some pic's in the indoor soil section to show what you've all made possible..today is day "60 " :jump:
