Little black bugs

After 10-12 years something new.
I have never seen these bugs before.
Inside in a closet under a 1000 HPS
I have 10 ladies @ 46 days into flower with 8-9 week strain.
Giant cola's they have with the plants looking good.
I have grown this strain 6-8 times now so i am very familiar with it.
I noticed that a couple of plants were getting red hairs, i thought a little early so i got out my jewelers loop 30x it is.
As i was looking at the trichomes and getting lost in the wonder of it all a foreign black spot stood out.
In taking the loop away the black spot is invisible with my naked eye so being very old I shake a lot so i am unable to hold focus with the loop and use a pair of tweezers at the same time.
Being I only have 14-18 days to go not sure there is much i can do.
As far as the bugs not sure what they are doing but for sure think it is not good.
They are so small and are black with one end of their bodies brown can't tell if the brown is on their back or front.
They seem to be mostly on the end of the sugar leaves.
They don't appear to be trap in the stickiness of the trichomes.
I see no wings or feet.
I do think that i saw slow movement.
I suppose I could cut off a bud and get a better shot at capturing one of these pests.
Not sure where that would get me.
Hoping that these bugs don't ruin my smoking pleasure.
Like I said other then a couple of plants showing early red pistils they look great!
Asking my brethren for their thoughts ?

No idea what that is, but if your plants can finish you can probably wash the buds at the end. Seems plenty of people on here have good success with it. Never tried it myself.

I rinse my buds. Gets any bugs and dust etc off.
If your plants are tolerating the bugs dont worry.
But maybe find out what they are. Most bugs tend to hang around and multiply.
Black and brown may be spider mites. Do you seen any tiny white spots on leaves. They leave tiny marks when they feed.

This rinsing of buds?
Do you mean simply putting a bud under some running water?
I would think after it dried?
Before curing?

Cut off a sugar leaf that has a "black spot" so that you can place it on a piece of paper on a table top to hold everything steady while you look at it.

I did think of this but would still be needing to ID the bug?
Have had only limited success in ID ing bugs?
But I will get a better look.
Does not look like any kind of spider mite.
Not seeing anything on the underside of the leaves.
Gezzz whats a fellow to do?

I take a 5 Gallon bucket of plain water. And cut buds into lengths of 2ft ish. I hold the ends and dunk the buds in an up and down motion. I do this with fresh material then trim. The water drops stop scissors sticking you will love it. Just shake it after the dunk. 95% water is gone with a shake.
I dunk right before trimming. Don't leave wet buds in a pile for ages!

Water is harmless to fresh harvested buds.
