Little Bay Cabins Jamaica

So as I learned there are a select few people from here , and a well known magazine in our culture that have stayed at Little Bay . I totally recommend this place for any toker or non toker for a peaceful relaxing place to stay. Mike is a great guy and his wife Kiesha were great as well . Its a bit out of the way for supplies so make sure you stock up on red stripe before heading to LB . O'Shane or Anthony will run and get you anything you might need if it will fit on their scooter . I am very thankful for a member who recommended this place to me . Great meals if you choose and great people come and go all the time . I learned more about the " real " Jamaica in this one trip than I had in a previous 6 trips .
Peace

Hello all,

Its hard to tell from the pics but did you have any of the native buds there?

I was in MO'Bay last year and everything I tried/bought was pretty much like what I brought with me...its was mostly indica hybrids...maybe just my run of luck but I sampled multiple strains from different sellers...as I said though that could be my run of luck for that day.

Still was disappointing in that I was looking for island sativa since I have not had a real sativa in quit a long time...still have not.

Anyway, loved being there...the cuisine was righteous...jerk chicken, oxtail with peas and rice....good stuff Maynard.

Do try the coffee too....Blue Mountain beans are the islands best...or so I am told. I found it an excellent flavor coffee.

Yes and no on weed quality . We found junk and we found some very decent sativa. Had some really good hash oil too from 2 different people . The most common I found and have found in the past are indica hybrids but in the garden in picture there are some scattered full sativas that are the growers personal weed . I paid $30 for 6 seeds from it and cant wait to see what I get indoors ? I only paid because I asked for some and he said no outright . So I then explained why I wanted his seeds and offered money. He told me " not often de white mon come n ask I for seed " . Was a cool encounter with a good farmer. As far as red soil I think its regional ? This field was in a river basin that floods during rainy season . They were hoping to harvest soon as they said the river will be flooding soon . It was between a sugar cane field and the river . If you stay at the cabins ask to go fishing . Its like $100 and you will meet Kochi who is a smart dude and great fun to hang with . Guy knows everyone in a 20 mile circle I swear . But as it turned out he had the best smoke we tried the entire trip. It was seedy and looked like a sativa for sure . Effect was energizing as long as I didnt smoke too much lol.
peace
