listening in on a cell phone

does anyone know about the methods and technology that leo uses to track and record cell phones? i know there are alot of products civilians can buy and use to listen in on any cell phones in use in the area. after all it is really just a radio signal right? wouldnt you love to know what someone has to say about you after they leave your house ect? i find so many people these days have alterior motives. i have eavesdropped a few times and it is amazing what some people will say about you, but never say to your face.

also i remember a few years ago a buddy of mine told me about this cellphone/device. basically this phone/device could clone up to 10 cellphones onto this one phone and basically once cloned you cold listen to all the calls that person took as well as reading their text messages. anyone ever hear of something like this?

IMHO, if your worried about someone talking sh*t behind your back after they leave YOUR house, they probably shouldnt have come over in the first place. Surround yourself with good people and this problem goes away. Once you discover a rat in your pack, eliminate it. Simple.

while i'm not sure it is 100% true, i basically assume that every byte of digital traffic is being automatically copied and stored for future "use" by the alphabet soup agencies.
their secret "copy-rooms" in major telecom hubs, where they make copies of the whole internet stream, have already been outed a couple of years ago.

I know some one that worked at a gov. Lab and he said back in 82 they had a super computer that would record conversations and depict if it needed recorded..... so I know there watching and listing all around the world now, but that cant watch all of us... or can they..
