limited soace, big light.

Hi there
I'm going to be in a position soon to set a small piece of space aside for self sufficiency purposes. I already have a 600w hps and a 4" extraction fan and filter donated to the cause.

Due to the nature of the space i'm using a tent, and i'm wanting an 80cmx80cmx160cm tent ideally (as i said, limited space).

Will the 600 be too much for the small space?

Also, without wanting to sound naive, would a separate small clip fan pointing directly at the bulb have the same effect as a cool tube or similar gadget at dispersing some of the heat?

Any advice would be appreciated.

What kind of ballast is it?

Can you run ducting through the light to cool it down?

Running a big light in a small space creates a ton of heat. My 250 watt heats up my closet to 90f.

The ballast came with the light, it's a Century grow systems 600w ballast.

How do you mean, run ducting through the light? As in a cool tube?
