Lights left on 24 hours, 12 days from partial harvest

Ok I screwed up....Last night I was in a rush and while I did turn off all my lights last night when I came back this morning I saw light when I opened the door. I had somehow turned the incandecent lamp in the closet, 75 watt crappy bulb. So I turned off the light, sealed the room, and I am figuring to leave it dark for 24 hours, then wake them at their normal time. So it would basiclly be one day of 24/24. Will this hurt my plants bad? Im worried as I am 12 days from harvesting 2 of my 5 plants, the other 3 are 18 days from harvest. Im hoping they wont be hurt to much if they get their dark since the moon lights up the night a few times a month but they dont normally go through such a weird cycle in nature. Uggh, am I doing the right thing?

heres a pic of one of the plants from a week ago so you can see how far along it is.

i think this has happened to the best of us no big deal unless this had been going on for days.

you dont need to mess with your timers either, just turn of the incandescent bulb and let your hps kick in when its supposed to.

basicly you need to get back to normal a.s.a.p

cool, i rushed home, turned on the hps and lights were off only about 2 hours. I the quickly took out the light bulb in the closet fixture, lets see it stay on now lol. Thanks for the responses, I feel a little better.

so close to harvest even if the plants were sensitive and hermied on you theres no way the nanners would mature and seed your bud in 18 days. just keep it on the same schedule as before and you'll be fine

ive done that like 2x now by accidentally hitting some of the pins on the timer and the lights coming on/going off during the light/dark cycle. i just reset the timer and continued like usual. i even had to turn off the lights for 2 days while i was out of town. still going fine except the issues i was already suffering. no banana's.

i hope u let them get 12 hours of sleep before going back on to day cycles....
nanner bud might not seed the crop, but it could reveg, strech and look ugly. 2.5 wont cut it... u should have let it go the whole 36h so u go can back to your regular night cycle, this time add 2 hours to the night (34h/14) and add a day to your calander.

Well I will remember this for next time, reveg is my biggest fear. All seems to be doing well, no bannanas and trics are changing cloudy and amber. This being my first grow I have made many mistakes and have learned much. I shouldnt say first grow actually. About 8 years ago I did a closet grow with one plant that was actually female. I used a 45 watt and a 25 watt cfl, a cardboard box, and some dirt from outside. I over fertilized and over watered. The plant produced about a half ounce of fluffy bad tasting unpotent herb that took 6 months to grow. Having no clue what I was doing, I try to forget that grow. This is my first educated attempt. Next time I decide to grow I think I will have some killer results, and these girls dont look too bad I must say. I think the quality will be great but I could have gotten more yield. :nono:

I left town for 8 days once. The care of my Indoor garden with my hapless neighbor... He must have hit the timer "on" button, because it did not switch off the lights at all for the whole 8 days..... Dumbass.

Somehow, I managed to finish the crop off. But, of course there were stress issues which manifested in additional powdery mildew, and attempts at incursion by insects....

I routinely check my timer each couple days, now.... Sheesh.
