Lights for a looong but narrow space?

Ok guys I need some help on this one. MY buddy wants a grow and I thought I could give him some hints anyway he's got a closet like 6*1,5 foot, almost a whole meter. First I was gonna suggest him 2*400w, but because of heat issues and noise level of the fans, im now more thinking about a single 600w. What kind of reflectors could I use for this purpose to spread the light the whole 6 feet?

The thing to understand about reflectors is it all depends on the depth of the hood.A deep reflector tends to concentrate the light more straight downward,I like these for veg when the plants arent as spread out.A shallow reflector tends to disperse the light to a wider area instead of concentrating it downward,I like these for flower when the plants are more spread out.The vertizontal is a good example of a shallow flowering fixture
