Lighting

Hey friends!!!
New grower looking to purchase lighting. Grow space is approximately 700 cubic ft. Debating between what is necessary for my space would one 600 watt HPS suffice? Or would it be smarter to go with the 1000 watt? Would two 600 watt lamps be more efficient than a 1000 watt lamp?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

its a loaded question, imagine you had fork truck pallets, positioned in your room and 1x 600w hanging above each pallet,, add 9x.. 3x us gallon pots to each pallet
aim for your photoperiodic canna plants to be 3 feet high in 3 months, and yes you can cram them up, the 600w hps is the best light for your effort,
with the best return on watt/lumen/per cent, with a lot less heat than the favored 1000w
good luck

Stemarmel,
We need to know the square feet of growing space to figure the lighting, not cubic feet. Good luck. -granger

I just started a grow in my cellar, about the same size, and 400W is giving me temps around 27-29C with the exhaust fan going 24/7. I was going to use 600W but that would build too much heat. I´ll probably get a fan for incoming cool air next week.

I have an 8x4 tent with two 600s and I could easily put another in there ✌
