Lighting to space question

Hi guys, I've been running 3 1000w hortilux eye with sun supply cool master hoods over a 4x8 tray for quite some time now and usually hit 1.5 lbs per light. I know about watts per sq ft and I know 3 1000 is total over kill but i usually turn on the middle light in week 4. I was wondering off were to take the middle light out would I hit the same weight ? Does that extra 1000w give me more weight or am I just light bleaching the shit out of my fan leaves ? I'm running co2 and my canopy temps are 80-82.

This depends on your layout and reflection. If you utilize all of your light I think 2k is plenty for max production on a 4x8.

oh I forgot to mention its 2 4x8 in a 10x12 room with 6 1000w but like I said I'd like to do 4 1000w in the same spacing hoping for similar results

I dont think you would lose alot, especially considering you will get some cross lighting from the other lights. Now if you could take 2 out and put them over their own tray i bet you would gain considerably,or better yet With 6k in a 10x12 you can light the WHOLE room, not just the 64sq ft of those 2 trays so you could effectively double your square footage to 120 from 64,just a thought.

Ok I'm going to look into it I can't use anymore space because I'm using 4x4 trays for irrigation and if I choose to use more space I would have to hand water the extras.
