I have a closet available to setup another grow area and am polling for suggestions or lighting advice from anyone who has experience dealing with non-square areas. Specifically, the closet in question is 7' high, 11' long, but only 2' deep. Due to the footprint, I'm wondering if it makes more sense to run multiple, lower wattage lamps for more even coverage, or if I can find reflectors that throw off a more rectangular pattern and put a couple 600w'ers in there.
For shits and giggles, I flowered a couple freebies around a 250w hps doughnut style in one of the corners earlier this year. I doubt I could go higher wattage in vert given the depth restrictions, but I'm also not at all opposed to flipping back to horizontal. I could likely fit up to 6 such setups in the closet w/o issue, possibly even double stacked if I wanted to go all out to the ceiling. It just seems like a monumental waste in ballast costs, not to mention the lower efficiency.
Any ideas or pointers?
