Lighting question

Hi I have a grow cab that is 5x2x3 and currently using a 90 watt ufo led and have a pc intake fan as well as a out take fan ,I want to use a 400w hps for flowering , my question is will i need to add more fans and what is a safe distance between the light and plant?

you guna need a bigger fan pal a 4inch ruck would be sufficient for a 400w

O about 12-14" from the plant would be good. As far as the venting I would say you need to run at least a separate 4" line to vent the bulb. I take it noise isint an issue for you?

I think you had the right Idea with led's but you might not be happy with the unit ya got..

Why are you trying to cram a hot as bulb in that little space?? I would think if you have your ventilation good just get a better led unit...

Hi , well noise is a issue as the cab is in my bedroom ,im pretty happy with my led unit , my thing is I keep reading a lot on here that they are good for veg only , where as you need a hps for the flowering stage ,I don't want to start a war between the Led mob and hps mob .I just want to get it right.

I'm all for going from veg to flower with my ufo 90 watt.I have enclosed a pic of my cab btw. cheers jjs

HGL Units make buds, well. I think your going to have a tough time getting a 400 hps in there to stay cool!!! defiantly not gonna be quiet NO WAY NO HOW.

I have alot of journals of making buds with my 126 watt unit. If you wanna know more about the units let me know!! you won't find any representatives for other led companies around here. Ours work and that's why were still here!!
