What's the word on their 2014 model tents? Do they stand up against the more known brands in terms of quality and light proofing?

Got one last June, few light leaks, around the zipper and Velcro stitching. Seems tough and poles are strong and metal. The small leaks don't bother me as I use it in a blacked out room. I am using the 4x2x5'7 unit as it is what I can fit in the basement.

Got one last summer too and same thing...sturdy but no where near light proof but running in a dark room it does fine.

Figures. Guess I'll get a 4x4 SJ or GL. Was hoping to save some cash with this tent but I could use the better/good light proofing.
