Lighters

I go though butane lighters so fast I buy cases of the cheap ones. I've bought many "refillable" models as well but nothing seems to last more then a few weeks. Could anyone of my fine IC friends tell me where I can buy (online) the best longest life refillable butane lighter? Many thanks in advance.

Hey redrider
I'm not sure about the LIFE of a refillable butane lighter. I guess they would differ by the size of the compartment to hold the butane. My suggestion for a high quality butane lighter would be a Colibri. Use google if you can to find an online store to buy one, I know there are several but finding one to ship to Colombia might be troublesome. The best thing for a butane lighter would be high quality butane. Several people on here have suggestions for which brand they like the best. Check ebay for cheap deals of bigger bottles of butane.

Good luck :joint:

hey redrider I've had one of these ronson jet lights since March of last year and it refills and works well - bought a second one last june (one for the house and one for travel.. ) and it is still working well too - used up a whole can of ronson butane filling these w/o a problem and they were $2.95 usd each

Thanks very much, a normal lighter works fine for normal use but I got a lot to burn down here and need a heavy duty lighter. I don't mind spending some money if it works but cheaper the better.

If you want a good quality refillable lighter that you plan on using for a extended period of time I'd also suggest a calibri. Great lighters, worth dropping the money on one if your in the market.

or you could buy a glass wand and a small torch...heat up the wand and there ya go....gives you the best rips...so clean and pure without the butane.

colibri's rock....i used to have a nice one, but i lost it

Every Calibri and every other refillable jet lighter I've owned always ended up being a piece of crap that didn't ever work again after a while. What models are you guys using?

I agree glo rods (as I hear most people call them around here) and solar hits are best.
