Lightening

Ok, so me being the careful/paranoid person that I am, I have taken numerous precautions to protect myself, but one thing that always is of concern to me is fire caused by either electrical or lightening.

A house near me was recently destroyed by fire caused by lightening.

What can be done to minimize/reduce the risk of this occurring??

maybe you should move,if it was me i'd be under the bed with my bong and cat scared ass hell.ive lived in states like nebraska, south dakota. yea it can get scary.

My next door neighbors house got hit by lightning while I was trying to fall asleep one night. Shit was like an atomic b#%b went off. A bright blue flash and then all the glass from the window next to my bed blew out. When I rolled over and looked out the window, their was an Erie purple glow in the air around the house and trees. If you live in an area prone to electrical storms, you'd probably do well to install 1-2 lightning rods.
