Hey Newbie,

here a conversion thread I find usefull when looking at quantities.

1 cubic feet is equal to 7.48 gallons (US)

Here is the link, it's an essential tool on a site where some use metric and others imperial measures.

I add dolomite lime, perlite, and earth worm castings in ANY soil but I've heard the FF soil is very rich so you could get them through veg if it was short but eventually you'll need to fert them.
Maybe add some castings and dolomite lime and see how it goes.

no i think fox farm ocean forest has enough stuff in it for you to be safe for a month, but, the light warrior you got to fert them from the beggining, correct me if im wrong
p.s. 1 cubic foot equals 7. 48. Each gallon pot you can fit 1 gallon of soil in it comftorably?

I still add 10 cups of earthwork castings, 1.5 cups of dolomite lime, and a bag of depot perlite to my bags of FFOF. I also add bacteria (sub culture + rooters mych) and goodies for the roots in the mix, as well as up to 3 tbsps of budswell per gallon. That is my base mix and I still use flowering nutes.

Light Warrior will need food.

You have to experiment with your pots. Some equal out a gallon perfect and some can come up slightly short of a gallon, even though advertised as 1gal.

You might as well add worm castings and maybe a litte blood and bone meal, then they'll be covered for sure
You'll have enough soil for about 6 containers by the time you wet it down and get the soil in the containers.

I like alfalfa meal and some shrimp meal as well as some azomite.

Minerals made a difference in my soil this year.

You got to admit, Light Warrior is great to work with. You enrich it slightly the way you like add some more sand and perlite and it's ready to rock n' roll.
