How long has this problem been going on? for about a week and a half. Three days ago I switch from MH to HPS.
What STRAIN are you growing? Sour d ( was supposed to be Auto but my White Widow and Northern Lights Auto started flowering after three weeks so I figure they're photos).
What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?) Seed
What is the age of your plants? 37 days
How long have they been in the soil mixture they are in now? since the beginning
Were they in the same mixture when they were seedlings/smaller plant? If not, what mixture were they in before? 16oz core of Light Warrior surrounded by Roots organic since the beginning.
How Tall are the plants? 21"
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? Veg
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) leaf tucking only
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot) 5-gal fabric 1 each.
What substrate/medium are you using? soil
What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) Roots organic with plus 25% growstones.
What brand Nutrient's are you using? Compost tea once a week for last 2 weeks.
How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? No nutrients yet. Only photosynthesis Plus twice and tea.
If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients?
What order are you mixing your nutrients? (example: veg nutes 1st, bloom 2nd ect)
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used? Tea was low pH so I changed it to 6.5
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"? 6.3
How often are you testing pH/ppm/EC/TDS? PH every watering. Runoff only twice.
What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen? ph pen
How often are you watering? Slight Run off after about a quart. Every 12-36 hours depending on how light and wet they feel.
What size bulb are you using? HPS 1000W
How old is your bulbs? new
What is the distance to the canopy? Was 20 inches with mh 30 inches now with HPS.
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity) 40%- 58℅. Week 2-3 they had 90-plus humidity at dark time. Fixed it by leaving fan on.
What is the canopy temperature? 77 - 81° f
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range) 65-81f
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) 2x440 CFM fans running on 50%. 16 inch oscillating fan and two clip-on fans one pointed just above the canopy.
Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ? One intake one exhaust running through my Cool Tube and carbon filter.always on

Attachments don't seem to be working for me I will try to post a picture later.

Top leafs are yellowing drastically and parts of fan leaves look burnt or coppery under the sodium light.

OK the leaves are getting worse. I moved it away from the Lights as far as I can. The yellowing seems to be getting better but my top most main fan leaves are getting worse. Were they burnt beyond recovery? Is it some kind of deficiency? Are these questions too hard or is noone even reading this? Or is there some other reason I can't get any answers here. Not noob friendly maybe? I have looked in several nutrient deficiency sites and can't quite figure out out.

The problem is getting much worse. Most of my to top fan leaves are half dead. I put her farthest from the light I could. My tallest autoflower is now 27" tall and 26" from the light. I don't want to raise the light more since she has been stretching so much. Wish someone could figure out what is wrong. Don't think it is lockout since I have been very careful about pH.

She has pretty much stopped growing. Irreversible light damage, previous humidity damage and nutrient deficiency are the only thing I can figure.

I would try giving them some nutrients. The soil mix will only sustain the plants for a month or so especially since you are cutting it with grow stones by 25%.

Also, if you haven't already, look into VPD(vapor pressure deficit). Some times you want the humidity because the plants will stop breathing and drinking if the air is to dry. When they stop drinking the stop up-taking nutrients and have that droopy yellowing look. Maybe get a temp humidity controller for your fan so it can shut off when it gets to the right temp/humidity.

Looks like the two things that changed around the time they went downhill are you switched to HPS and started to apply compost tea.

It's possible the compost tea was anaerobic and caused a root issue. What are you brewing it with? Also, compost tea does not need to be PH corrected, I doubt that is your problem, but in general don't try to correct it

I just got some 10 gallon pots. Would it be better to repot them or feed them or both?

.

I have a temperature controller that was running but it would shut off the fans at down time and the humidity would spike.
Had >90℅

Tea

4 gallons in a five gallon bucket.
one cup of compost
One cup ewc
( dry stuff in a sock)
2 tablespoons blackstrap molasses
Bubble for 24-36 hours
75°f (fish tank heater)
It smelled sweet when I used it but the first batch has a very low ph (4.5-5?) I mixed it with 50% water and used ph up till it was at 6.5.

Second batch I used half ingredients and water and the pH was 6.3 right out of the bucket

If you plan on vegging them for more time before flowering it might be good to re-pot. What size do you have them in now? If your going organic you could feed them with some guano or kelp tea, liquid kelp extract. Fish emulsion should work good to.

This is the environmental controller that I use. You can set daytime and night temp and humidity settings. You can use one exhaust fan to control temp and humidity. So at night the when the temp drops and the fan shuts off the fan will turn back on when your humidity rises to the set level. This might not be your problem, but it is something worth considering.

Tea recipe sounds fine to me. I'm not a tea expert but I know you need to have plenty of air and not use it if it has a bad smell.

Chillin12, Hope you can get it sorted out soon. It sounds like your doing everything right. Not enough experience to help you out Bud, but you think their would be more people here with it, who could offer advice.

Maybe this sub forum don't get much attention and your better off posting somewhere else. Good luck and don't let it get you down.

They are in 5 gallon fabric pots. These were surprise photos in my crop of autos, I will be vegging them for as long as the Autos take to flower. If they don't survive I won't worry too much. The Autos that I have with this problem are not nearly as bad.

I am going to attempt to use the Roots organic line. Just picked up a starter kit and we'll see how they do.

With the fan on constantly it's nearly perfect temperature when the lights are on. With half my plants vegging and half my plants flowering, 40% humidity that I have in there seems a good compromise.

I'm beginning to have a feeling that I am over-watering. I'm going to try regular nutrient line and to see if that fixes my problem.

Thank you, I've been getting some good advice from here and the local Hydro Store. I think I've narrowed it down a little bit. I'm going to let them dry out a little bit and then I'm going to feed them.

How are your girls doing?

You are not that old, I'm only 3 years behind you.
