Hello,
I have few question about light on a pc grow box I want to prepare,
How many watt is too much?
I want to buy 65w CFL with cold spectrum for veg and to switch it to 65W CFL with hot spectrum for flowering
Is it enough, or maybe too much?
these CFL are a little bit bigger from a regular ones,
maybe it would be better if I put 3 20w instead of one?
I have a store in my town that sells hydro things for growers (lamps, fans,
And they told me that the regular CFL won't be enough and I must get at least these 65w,
it that true?
And if not, please tell me what CFL combination is the best for me for veg and flowering

tried one big 85w cfl but it was too hot. last time it was 2x25w maybe a little bit low but when you are limited by space its not a bad thing and temps will be lower too :smoke:
correct me if im wrong but more light = bigger plant

go with several smaller ones rather than one big and hot in small space you can always add more smaller bulbs if needed if is too hot inside just remove one or two.
you can use flowering spectrum for veg without problems.
