Hey guys. A friend of mine who doesn't have computer access is about 3 weeks into flowering and is experiencing some light-mildew on his bottom fan leaves.
3 weeks in... pick up zone and penetrator, I can't remember the exact rates to use them at (maybe the recommended amount of penetrator and 5ml/gal zone?) but search on the forums, there is a REALLY long thread on powdery mildew in there. You can dip your plants in it if they're small, or spray the shit out of them.
Ideally you would: Prune the shit out of all the lower growth (it increases airflow & light penetration and sends growth energy upwards instead of giving you popcorn buds,) get more fans, and lower your humidity.
I've seen people try everything from baking soda to sulfur burners, and zone+penetrator is what works.
Go kamikaze on that shit, it will only get worse if you don't act fast.
everything he said.. if you're in a country where you cant get zone but can get bayer products, then try "exact".
really though the advice above regards more air circulation, pruning and lower humidity is right on the money. sometimes low night time temps can be a contributing factor too.
