Light leak - Girls went a lil hermaphroditic - Can i save them??

Hey peeps, my girls got their first hermaphrodite signs EVER.. :badday:

Quick info:
strains - Skunk Special (FMS), Cinderella 99 (GN) and Northern Lights x Ice (FMS)
problem - signs of hermaphroditism due stress, can't decide what would be the best thing to do
status - flowering for 5 weeks, 8 week strain

This one was hard to get a good picture out of, but the balls are there.

This has some male balls.

This has a clear male ball cluster.

The text:

I have 50 girls under two 600w's, and about 75% of them are growing more or less bananas. Only that 25% is ok. They have been flowering for 5 weeks (and it's a 8 week strain) and look just ready to "blow up" if you know what i mean..

Girls got the stress out of +2hrs of light, two nights in a row (two timers break down in a row, how's that for tough luck) - are making bananas to their buds, mainly the main cola's top part.

I think dumping the banana ones might be the only solution so i won't waste the nonbanana girls - i'd maybe get some yield from em.. But what if the bananas do not show up so bad and don't blow up?

I could just chill and not to cull them, and still get a yield - maybe with a few seeds, but maybe more yield than from just a few unpollinated bushes? :chin:

Apparently there is way too many bushes to go bananapicking - would trimming the banana'ed buds away do any good? The problem with the trimming is that i'd basically have to trim off the main cola!! But would the side buds swell that much then? Skunk Special really can pack a lot of weight to it's main bud..

It's a battle trying to decide between wanting a decent yield and just chopping it all and putting new cuttings in (i have them ready, of course).. :dueling:

At five weeks in you can expect seeds if the pollen is fertile. If you have many nanners you can expect many seeds. Seeded pot is as potent as non-seeded (IMO) but it will yield much less smokable material (although weight might be higher overall). With that many ladies I assume at least some is for commercial consumption, you have to make sure that you'll have a market for seeded bud

The room has worked for the same strain(s) for a few years now, so it's completely light leak free..

Anyone else wanna give some input? All is appreciated!

okok just checking.....still find it odd that they hermie of those 2 accounts going a little longer......i did worse (and still doing) 2 my plants be shure of that....
hope you find it man...maybe make some bubble hash of the hemies and start over...?

Some of the Cinderella 99's are alright..

At the moment i'm thinking that i should just let em still go, even for a couple of weeks..

I'd take a pair of tweezers to those nanners if I were you though. I've had this happen and my buds came out loaded with seeds. Way too many. It's tedious work, but it's better than letting all that hard work and money invested 'go to seed'.
