light intensity question

How many umols of light does canabis want for veg and flower? Trying to get my lights set up. Gavita will tell me where to put everyythin. 1500 umol is to much for no c02 correct? 800 and 1200? 600 and 900?

700 and 900 is what I read years ago...

From what I remember a umol is a way to quantify flux, or PAR... I can't be sure.

It's a unit of measurement for light that has good applicability to growing plants:

One micromol per square meter per second (umol.m.2s1). A unit of measure of the amount of light hitting a surface that is in the range of 400-700 nanometers.
