Light intensities at different stages

Like most people I use lower watts during vegetative stage and flower stage, 63 watts in veg and stretch and 78 watts in flower and so far it has worked fine.

For the sake of the discussion, let’s assume a 3 week stretch, 3 to 5 week bud formation, 2 week maturing (for a total of 8 to 10 weeks, depending on how indica or sativa is the strain). The maturing stage been when the buds fatten up.

Now I wonder if it would make sense to up the light for those last 2 weeks? Has anyone experimented on different light intensities in the later part of flowering?

I think less light at the end would be better.
I have seen more foxtailing/new white pistil growth at the end of flowering from intense light (ie you see it on the top buds closest to the light) than from grows with less intense lighting.

if you increase the lights end flowering, it will reveg/foxtail like CRAZY
google daily light intake

and youll degrade the trichs at the tops prematurely while the rest will be clear
