Light cycle / hydro cost question

I have some auto's I'd like to run, but hydro here is really expensive during peak hours, and pretty cheap in off hours.

The off hours would make for decent 12/12 schedule - which is not good for auto's, I know. But, the weekend cost is same as off hours cost, so here's my question.

If I run auto's at 12/12 Mon to Fri, then on non stop from Fri 7pm to Mon 7 am (60 hours full), would this be of benefit in growth, or do you think the irregular hours might have negative affect re: herms, etc.?

Any help is appreciated.

Is your electricity that expensive?
I would just run regulars.
Regulars on 12/12 are an option for sure.

Yes, my hydro is expensive outside of 12 hr off peak period, and even the "mid" peak use is expensive (3 phases to cycle charges). Regular house use now is almost equiv to $200 usd a month, and we are careful not to use major appliances in peak hours.

Running regulars or autos for 18/6 or longer would make my harvests almost 1/2 retail price, and that is too much for budget. I rarely buy now due to financial limits.

I have read your colloidal thread - great results.

Anyone have thoughts on my timing question?

I'd like to use the massive, free hid lamp that is only 93,000,000 miles away, but location of property and marital status preclude it.

12/12 from seed is looking like only way - but I'd still love to get some feedback on my proposal of 12/12 Mon to Fri then 60/0 hours straight over weekend on autos. Electronic timer can handle it, hydroponics can grow it to max capable.

Some of these auto's I have will yield almost 1/4 lb in 10 or 11 weeks - and stay under 3 ft tall. Not sure 12/12 regulars can touch that?
