light burn or deficiency ?

hi guys and gals , any ideas whats happening here? im week6 and this started few days back and progressing fast..


seedsman bruce banger day 36
under 480w led 3000k QB
organic soil (dank franks soil mix and philthy's base...been watering filtered water @50ppm with 1ml per liter liquid karma and a dash of silica..ph'd to 6.5
temperature is 77 humidity 45%-50%

im adding epsom salts today thinking perhaps sulfer/mad deficiency

any halp greatly appreciated .

Frank's mix is hot !!! tell us more . Are they in solo cups ?
Ya see week 6 they should start shedding fan leaves but they usually fully yellow and drop
If i only get 1 guess with the tad bit of info you have given. Id bet you let them run dry and start drooping a few times. Also would bet your ph meter is not calibrated /cheap-o one or you added too much of something to brown the top leaves like that . to me that screams ph issues.

Adding Epsom to soil week 6 imo is not going to help you . Just ride it out 2 more weeks and try again .

BTW I use Frank's mix in 20g soft pots now am half way threw my 2nd cycle and I just top dressed for the 1st time. Other than that water and microbial mass every 2nd Sunday. Best looking, tasting and yielding plants I've grown indoors

they are in 7 gallon pots,i may have let them go abit dry never bone dry or drooping,thinking was overwatering,i was watering 4 liters a day,i backed off to 3 max daily,i only been adding liquid karma at 20ml per 5 gallon, a drop of silica to ph up to 6.5 from start of seedling nothing more.

im using a tri-meter $300.00when purchased with brand new prob,2 months only and calibrated every use..i also have a bluelab..both say 6.5...

for sudden ease yes, foliar can help the plant, but not the ongoing issues with the unbalanced nutrient profile of the pre-made soil they are in.
several reason can cause the deficiencies symptoms, you can only tell it after checking the pH and ec out of your medium.

I dunno Frank's mix was made for beds, i don't know if 7gal of soil is enough to go water only . But synthetic nuitrients are just going to fuck with the biological soil plant relationship. If you add bloom food you should finish the grow with it .

The whole point of soil building was to ax the bottle. And the meters.

My 1st couple attempts at organic my plants always ran outta gas week 6 I chalked it up to adding too much (nirvana, terpinator, pure blend tea , phosphoric acid and poor watering habits . I usually missed when they started slowing down drinking and overwatered. Plus p.o.s ebay ph meter.. once I owned a bluelab I realized how shitty the cheap meters are.

This doesn't help you i know but it is early .

what i find strange is its not all plants.. my romberry,white widows and white ogs are as green as can be,maybe even a bit dark..

the garden was the healthiest garden i ever had,these plants grew like there on steroids ,never seen that before,i mean like i had to pull the 4 white og at day 28 cause they got to big to fast,im in a wheelchair and they out grew me..lol couldnt maintain them..wasnt prepared for the stretch..so there currently in my living room,,still bulking up...

If its only happens under the LED light then you need to add more cal -mag to strengthen the cell tissue. I had this problem happen to me when I used 2 x 2000 watt high intensity LED lights and was low on calcium. Also I had a few of the same plants under HPS and didn't get the bronzing.

Looks like these are eating hard. This is a classic P deficiency, probably combined with Ca def.

Some gypsum and a good high P product should stop it.
