LIFESAVER DAY 30 OF FLOWER... HELP!

Hello Everyone,

I am growing 4 purple urkels and 2 lifesavers. The PU seems fine, but not as frosty as last week and LS not frosty yet. Lifesaver buds seems lite maybe underfed and the leaf tips look a little brown (see first pic)? Both are day 30 of flower with same nuts Advance nutrients. From what I have read PU is 60/65 days & LS is 53/60 day of bloom. The PU buds seem ahead of LS by a week or two.

ph 5.8
ppm 1350 (tap water 290ppm)
rez temp 69.1

Okay confession, I've was foliar feeding 2x daily, which I stopped two days ago. I cant think of anything else I'm doing wrong except for maybe underfeeding. Ive been following the advanced nutrients chart "grow more for less"

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am no hydro specialist, but I do not see anything wrong with your plants and the flowering progress. I think that if you continue to follow through with your plan, you will have a great harvest. O'yeah, great looking plants!

Thank you Tex1969!...The leaf growth in the first pic looks strange to me compared to the PU? If you think its ok I guess I will relax...someone said, it looks like its going to seed! I keep looking for yellow flowers its stressing me out. I read LS can go Hermy. Thanks again Tex1969!

Your plants are being overfed big time, lifesaver is not supposed to be that shade of green..... Your tap water has to be taken in account for with your ppms......

Why are you foliar feeding them when they are in hydro? They do not need foliar fed. let alone 2 times a day that is overkill......

WHat is your TDS/ppm of your setup with the tap water ppm added....

how tall is your plants and how often do you monitor your pH?

ime a full system flush will have to be done...... those plants are suffering from high levels...


you using any nitrogen? the bloom a?

I was foliar feeding them with liquid karma 2x a day because, I am inexperienced & stupid! In growing there is soooo much too learn...I know, I'll make mistakes, but hopefully I'll learn.

Today the ppms are 1418 includes tap water ppms of around 300? Today, is day 33 of flower, week 5.

Tallest plant is 26" other plant is 22".

I have a 3 meter hanna monitor inside the reservoir that monitors the ph, ppms & temp constantly.

I am using sensi bloom 2 part A & B. It does contains nitrogen.
A= 4.3-0-3.1
B= 1.5-4.6-5.7

Check your canopy heat - this will lead to up curl of leaves and loss of scent, and stretching....

Those ppms need to come down, the plant has too much nitrogen and should have a little more bud growth. Flush out the system and start over with 1,000 ppms that includes tap water ppm. for 2 feet talll plants that tds reading is extremley high, remember you go by the size of the plant not the directions, but with AN you can go by there directions, but you are also using other products with it, so ease up on the nutes...... LK has amino acids and vitamins which cannabis uses, but they require such a small amount that when used in quanities like you are doing it builds up and causes issues with other nutrients and the way they are absorbed.
By foliar feeding them, it's pretty much forcing the plant to take it.

So I would flush it out with a lot of water and start over with a new TDS and moniter it, because once it recovers you will need to bump the TDS reading higher, you always want to start with a semi low ppm when you flush your plants out to help them recover quicker, putting them back in semi hi tds reading could cause slower growth after recovering from a burn.

Hello All, I hope you all had a great weekend!
I took off for a ride in the mountains to clear my head of all these problems that seem to be a combination of things. I am doing everything recommended thank you Dr. and now I wonder will LS recover? or is she ruined forever?

I am thankful that my PU didnt suffer the same fate, but I have 4 clones from LS maybe I'll get a second chance or toss em & go get more PU she's a lot easier for me to grow.

Think of growing like juggling......when you throw another thing in the equation, it affects the balls you where already juggling and all wants to be put into balance.

You will find that balance. It takes patience and experience.

Those mountains sound beautiful, the perfect fix for a grow headache!
