lifelight technology 42" Rotator 1200w Array System

is anyone familiar with these dual lamp light spinners? They mix the MH and HPS spectrums togethor and since the lights spin theres no heat issues. My buddy is claiming he gets 3 lbs with 1200 watts off 9 Super Silver Haze . 2 weeks of Veg and then 8wks of Flowering. He uses a 3 x 6 Ebb and Flow system with Coco and Perlite mix in 1 gallon containers. I'm just curious how this system sounds to u vets that know the low down on these types of set ups. I'm about to build a system just like this but wanted to be sure $750 dollars is well spent on the spinner.

He pulls 5.3oz a plant.. in a one gallon container.. with only two weeks veg? Your buddy sounds like he is yanking your chain...

The light does kickass though...

Indica so it doenst matter if the strain is a extra larger yielder? its all about the container size? what size container could pull off 5 oz?

You can get 5 oz in a 3gal container,if you went through the transplantation process,if not forget it.I'm not sure about light spinners,but sunsystems has a killer combo fixture

I'm about to purchase one within a month or so..i will keep a full on log...any ideas on what would be a ideal set up for this thing? could u rig this to fit in the Hydrohut

I think that light is best reserved for a nice big room...

Expensive thats just for the spining reflector? not the ballast too.....
