Wow, those are cool looking. I have seen those before but not that pronounced. Tomatoes and peppers can do the same thing, I think it's genetics adapting to conditions...

What are the lumps on my plant stem?
Adventitious roots are normal bumps and swellings on stems
Small knobs, swellings, or bumps on stems are usually harmless and caused by plant genetics (natural growth) or stressors in the environment. Google

Bodybuilding is like Sun tanning, it doesn't last.

What this guy and his friends are doing is 80 times more dangerous than bodybuilding and sun tanning combined. He's Iraqi, about 10 years ago it became a trend in Iraq and a few other random countries to inject oil beneath their skin to look like they had huge muscles. They were doing it in Brazil, Mexico, a few other places. I think they all got cancer and died many years ago.

Here's another (bad) example, a fixed boxing match with a politician/boxer/bicep freak showing off his guns. To be fair it was an exhibition for fund raising, wasn't meant to be a seriously contested fight.

Back to the actual topic, I apologize to the OP for taking my little joke so far. I know an excellent grower who had developed knuckles on some of his plants. He seemed to think the nodes store calcium but he wasn't 100%. I'm curious how Chuckeye managed to get his to swell like that and what the benefits are?

@slownickel has been posting a bunch about it on instagram, he's here on IC as well. Seems to be obsessed with micronized calcium. He has all sorts of pictures of incredible rooting action in clones in cubes, creating a large white node with roots shooting out everywhere. He preaches about it quite a bit. I haven't delved into it, don't understand how it works, curious if anyone can explain how and why it works.

I think the knuckle-building and crazy rooting action are supported by high levels of phosphorous and calcium, maybe slownick can elaborate. I know there's limits to everything, increasing one nutrient increases the chance of something else being locked out unless it's upped as well. I know there's other knuckle-builders out there, like to get some more info on it.

It's odd that none of the sativas shown online today have healthy leaves.

But when you grow them without the hipster milk dust they grow healthy leaves:

Calcium knuckles lol. Like a swollen asshole, begging for more. I'd hate to be the wife of any Cannabis calcium cult member. I bet knuckled plants test high in thc. Like distillate.. 10 more years of Instagram fertilizer circle jerk and the best Blue Dream Gelato cross will pale in comparison to prescription Marinol.
