Let's Play Guess That Sex (Preflower Pictures)

I snapped some pictures of preflowers and thought it might be fun to have the forum give input on the sex based on the pictured primordia.

Some details, the plants are 38 days old, currently in a mostly organic soil mix, in one gallon pots.

1,3,4 looking like Male

2 is harder to tell, males have 3 or 4 types of preflower and one is very similar to the female, but without the hair. Some strains always show the hair.. if they have one, some others you can tease it into view with a nudge, others just hide the fucker for a few more weeks no matter what

To me only number 2 is a female.

But you should wait a little for more preflowers to cluster, and sometimes depending on the strain, the initial set of preflowers are male and then they go along as females. Happened to me with some hermy prone stuff like SD IBL, never saw any pollen sack later in flower, only the pre flowers.

This strain is especially difficult as the pistils take their sweet ass time to emerge.

They are all different, but generally the girls take their sweet time to show, and are usually the less funky looking plants

And once again, plants prove to be eerily similar to humans.

I feel I can often get a good idea of the gender just based on the growth characteristics of the plant, but this batch is hella backwards. The tall lanky fukkas are going female, and many of slower shorter specimens are male.
