Greetings ladies and gentlemen. I present before you a blank room. Offering us, the IC community an area to design together and then grow. currently in the house we have a vortex 449cfm fan, one 400hps cooltube from hydrotek, 1 quart each of floranova grow and bloom. I'll need to order the gallon size, anything else on the nut side I should consider?
to this will be added, eaither 1k or 600 cooltube hps, most likely 1k. and a vapotek4000. I would like to build the frame out of pvc, possibly 2". 1" if it's supportable. The box can be anyware frome 6-7 foot by 5foot and anything up to 18 feet tall. fresh cold air will be pulled through the cool tubes from a window that is and the west end of the room.
I'm thinking either 6, five gal. buckets or krusty buckets. both would be hooked up to rez's to make nute adjustments easier.
this is a different direction of our before planned grow inside of a cabinet. figured building a box would be easier for the cooltubes, and allow us to really grow
Vegging area will be as follows. a closet in the same room, that will be lit by different wattage cfl's around a frame of pvc and flexilite insulation that reflects the cfl's very nicely.
the closet is 22 inces wide, 5 1/2 feet long, and 8 feet tall.
I'm thinking of having an area on the left to grow seedlings in a tub after germination, taking clones from said tubs, once sex is determined (also on left side) males are disposed of, and female clones are left. Cloning will be done in grateful's tiki wick, and perilite tub. on the right of the closet, 6 buckets on a rez, allowed to veg before being put into the flower room.
the strains we have. all from nirvana, via seedbay. top notch.
white rhino, B52, cali-o, ak48.
I'll be doing all four strains, popping 4 seeds of each..,maybe 5?
suggestions, tips, instructions, don't do's etc's.
we have a heavy duty dremel, skill saw, rotozip rz2. homedepot and lowes within a 1.5 miles radius...and some time.
we have access to two 'fuses' cant' remember the term. at the house, with about 1800watts being 80% of the load on each, we should be fine there.
