Finally got a chance to pop my pack of Lemon Shiv and I am so excited!! I got these at the Portland expo and they're bred by Capulator. the testers were shown to be stable and have ammonia and pine terps. it is a cross of bodhi's pinesoul with Freezerburn called Shiver Me Timbers and CFL which is Lemon Fire x Freezerburn. Finally, freezerburn is mac1(super lemendawg x miracle 15).
i got a freebie pack of these in a clear snap lid vial that had 12 beans of which 11 have broken ground. they're currently in little containers with seedling soil which is 9 parts sphagnum peat moss, 1 part rice hulls and 1 part EWC with a small handful of kelp meal. i think its a awesome mix for seeds.
The plants will go into SIPs once sexed. I design my SIPs differently that others who use peat moss as the wick. i fill the reservoir with drainage pipe and perlite so the soil is not sitting in water and instead on a bed of perlite that wicks water up to it. the roots grow down into the pipes and all the way to the bottom. its really increased my yeild and resin production. they transpire like crazy and growth is much better than when i was handwatering 20 gallon fabric pots. this last run i forgot about the veg because i put solo cup clones in SIPs and then filled up the rez to walk away for the holiday. when the reservoir was empty (it's outside the room) i went to check on the plants and realized three weeks had past and i had ready to flower plants. i basically missed veg with all the hub bub of holiday cheer.
in nine weeks the flower room will be empty and i'm hoping to have plants ready to flower out. maybe make some F2's for the fridge. i have a feeling these will be a fire pack.
