I had the pleasure to get hold of some Lemon OG a friend has grown. I got samples of 2 different phenos. Both grown from seed (D n A)
Lemon OG (pheno 1)
Lemon OG (pheno 2)
As you can see, pheno 1 is more resinous and it´s also a lil more Kush dom than pheno 2, which def looks more like it´s Lemon Skunk mom.
While typing these letters I´m smokin up a jay of pheno 1
The taste is like the smell. Like it´s name, it tastes/smells like lemons mixed with hashy kush. The lemon side is not sweet lemon; it´s more kind of a raw and creamy lemon taste, while the typical Kush taste is in the foreground.
The Spliff tastes nice till the last puff, even when it´s re lit a few times.
Both phenos smell/taste very similar.
Taste/Smell: 8.5/10
I really like the bud structure of this strain. No sticks, no stems. You put a small amount in the grinder and it turns out a lot when grinded.
It burns very slowly and well.
The effect starts with a motivating sativa high, that is clear and up without any stress. After some time the indica side gets noticeable and you feel very comfortable at the couch. If you smoke a little more it can get very stony
The effects of the two phenos were quite similar, while the pheno 2 is a little more on the sativa side. Liked pheno 1 a little better.
Effect/High: 8.5/10
Overall a very nice strain to smoke and my buddy told me, it was also a pleasure to grow (10 weeks, yield over 100 gram/plant, pheno 1 had a monster main cola!!)
