This is one of the more bland kush crosses I have come across in the stone department, but it is pretty tasty when it gets to burning it. The stone starts off fairly quick but it takes a while to get anywhere. I smoked one bowl and a few mins later I was thinking about smoking another to see if it would take effect quicker. It took a good three bowls after the first one, over a period of half an hour, before I started to really feel the effects of it. The stone of it is cloudy in the head and slows you down a good bit. If someone were to call your name, by the time you turned around theyd know your fairly stoned. The cloudy feeling in the head is a weird one, the type of feeling where you could start out looking for something and get totally distracted with objects such as staring at an intricate spider web - while on a good sativa you would get distracted by actions such as cleaning your entire house or fillin that aero cloner up in middle of night.

Taste is pretty strong, it is heavy smoke to it because it wasnt flushed too well, and the cure was early so it was fluffy nugs that could be a bit more dry. It has a strong kush taste like the sfv but just not on the same volume. Most all of the other kushes I have tried have been tasty like this or much stronger. The smell was much like antiques that had been cleaned with pledge, it had that old smell to it with just a hint of lemon.

Overall there are a lot better kushes to try, but the smell of it caught my nose as it is like a trainwreck crossed with a kush and has a unique stink. If you need something to smoke that will get you tired but not knock you all the way out, this is the one to go with.

1. Visual Appeal: 8
Rate the visual appeal of the buds from 1-10 unappealing-excellent.
Comment: chunky nugs that arent too hairy and look to have a good calyx to leaf ratio to em. Trimmed fairly well, most stuff ive seen come ouf of here could use a little hair cut.

2. Visible Trichomes: 8
Rate the visible trichome content from 1-10 none-totally covered.
Comment: lots of frost inside and out of the bud, doesnt look to be skuffed as most of the heads are still there on the outide.

3. Use an X to indicate the colors that are present in the trichome heads under magnification or list the percentages of each color for
a more precise report.
Clear: 5%
Cloudy: 95%

not in their natural state leave this field blank.
Comment: fluffy bud though not airy, an break it down in one hand for a joint easily but it has some stick to the inside of it

6. Use numbers 1-9 on descriptors that apply to the aroma of freshly broken bud where a one indicates a subtle presence and 9 indicates a pronounced presence.

Ammonia [] Earthy [ ] Licorice [1] Peach [ ]
Berry [ ] Floral [ ] Mango [ ] Pepper [ ]

7. Aroma: 6
Rate the aroma from 1-10 repulsive-delightful. Use freshly crumbled bud for best results.
Comment: Nothin that great here, smells like a watered down kush, i picked up some sfv at the same time and it is three times as stinky and musky as this. This does have a slight citrus smell to it, it reminds me a bit of old wicker or antiquated furniture with a touch of pledge on them.

8. Seed content: 0
Rate seed content from 0-10 none-fully seeded.

3. Taste: 7
Rate your impression of the taste from 1-10 unpleasant-delicious.

Rate the dryness of the bud from 1-10 wet-dry where 5 is ideal.

5. smoke ability: 6
Rate the smoke ability of the sample from 1-10 harsh-smooth.

Comment: can hold it in a good while not a lot of expansion or irritation.

1. __[5 hits / .5g max ]__ Dosage

I like how your report is very detailed.Sounds like some ok Marijuana if you ask me I would buy and smoke it for sure.I have been smoking schwagg for about a month so I am sure I would be blown outta my mind.Nice pics of the buds also.

That's funny, a young hippie friend of mine says his buddy in Colorado grows lemon kush (it's his only keeper mom) and it was very potent when he had some - and I'm talking about a guy who has a very high tolerance for weed. Maybe you had a bad pheno, or maybe his seeds were from a totally different breeder....

actually, your friend may be growing the lemondrop kush going by the potency description.. Commonly called lemon kush in california - lemondrop kush sets itself apart from the others by its extreme frost even for a kush and a sharp kush smell with a dead on lemondrop candy flavor. The potency of it is strong - but by no means will either of those do the trick for a user with extreme high tolerance like your buddy may have.

Also keep in mind that the dispensaries can change names on the fly, and what you got at 8am might be sold as something completely different at noon. My game plan is to spend my fun-tickets on a sack, then report back with pics and an accurate description about how that sack turned out just in case other medical users are looking to acquire a sample of that strain to see if the medicine works for them. And lastly, i should point out that i feel I have a pretty strong tolerance to herb as well. :bongsmi:

thanks for chiming in and adding more info to the pot! anyone else out there come across the lemon kush in their neck of the woods?

Excellent info, Sauron. You are a true connoisseur :).
And I totally get your point about how you should take with a grain of salt the strain name of whatever you're buying. Even at a dispensary, you can't always trust that you're buying what they say you're buying...
I have one question: because of your high tolerance, have you ever given a 10 (on a scale of 1 to 10) potency to ANY weed? And would a 7 potency to you be potent enough to knock a lightweight on their azz? Because I know what I consider fire may just be 'good' weed to someone who's used to the best of the best....

9 out of 10 times i have given something of average potency to a person that smokes a bowl or two a day - they think its some really good pot, if i were to give that to a medical user it most likely wouldnt even show up on their radar. If I were to give the same lite smoker a bowl of something I rate a 9 or higher, they would be blown away and most likely turn down another bowl after that point, give the same sample to a med-head and they ask you if you have some for sale and if not where you got it at.

thanks for the kind words buddy, stay safe!

nice report, the lemon drop kush is some dank. smoked lbs of it back in the day and it smashes on any lemon going around now. here is a photo of the lemon drop kush, we just call it lemon though. you really have to know the smoke to tell it apart from the rest.

And the kushmaster checks in! Was wondering where he was. If it's kush, you can bet jaykush has smoked some of it and can give you his two cents on it... :) And if he says the lemon drop kush is the bomb, then you KNOW its the real deal.

STB, thanks for the info on medicinal quality herb. Too often I forget that a lot of the peeps on this board are medicinal users and NEED really potent pot to quell pain and nausea. And when I say medicinal, I mean people with wasting diseases like AIDS and cancer. The person who has an mmj prescription for 'depression' or 'anxiety' I don't really consider a medicinal user, just a lucky bastid who lives in a state where they can get away with that...lol.
But yeah, someone who's racked with pain and nausea on a daily basis needs some knockout stuff to keep functional.
I also think that people who used to do hard drugs and now only do weed have high tolerances, since weed is such a milder drug in comparison. My hippie friend with the extreme tolerance used to be a cokehead (just the powder stuff, not the freebase) and also used to do LSD on a daily basis. That was years ago, now he just sticks to weed. I always wondered how he could smoke so much - he used to finish off our smokeout sessions with a hit from a six foot bong - now I know: cause when you've been coked out of your mind on a regular basis for years, weed is almost like nothing, it's like having a couple beers after work, something to take the edge off.
That's just my opinion on why he's got such high tolerance. I've been smoking for the better part of 10 years and I'm still comparatively a lightweight. I sometimes think if I smoked more (more than 1 bowl a day) I would develop more tolerance too, but I think I like being able to get fried after only a couple rips. :)
