Lemon Haze in 2020

Hi All,


One of the most memorable strains I have ever grown was Lemon Haze. Ticked every box for me - great taste, appearance, smell and potent stone, not to mention the yield. I last grew it circa 2009 and at the time, all I could find was regular and not feminised seeds.

Then it seemed to disappear off the market... So I then tried Super Lemon Haze, but it was far inferior. Now I see that LH feminised versions are available. Has anyone grown the modern version and can compare it to the LH of old? This time I plan to grow it indoors, thanks for any opinions.

My friend grew Lemon Haze from Bulk seeds. Yield is great, but not one lemon pheno. Str8 piss smell, very similar to a old brick weed called "Ouro Real" (real gold) and the high is also very similar, quite talkative, with no symptoms in the body.

But unfortunately what he wanted was a Pheno with lemon / lime.

I'll have to grow at least 2 in my next grow... the question is from which seed company.

Yikes, I'll strike Bulk Seeds off the list. LH should be strong in lemon/citrus smell and taste that's one big part of it's appeal. Good info, many thanks.

I grew SLH many years ago, it was OK but wasn't anywhere as good as the LH I grew for 2-3 seasons. I wish that pheno wasn't lost (the plants I grew pretty much seemed all the same) , which seems to be long gone now. Not only was it excellent smoke, the yield was possibly the best I have seen out of the dozens of strains I've grown in the past decade.
