Leftover Pipe from 2004 Grower's Cup

Hello Friends,

It seems that we have in our possession at the Amsterdam shop a pipe that was left on consignment by some glass artist called Thick Smoke. It was left by 2 associates of the artist after the 2004 Cup had finished in the hope that the shop could sell it after the event. The consignment price levied by the representatives of Thick Smoke seems to have been a little too high for any of the thousands of people that have passed through Gypsy Nirvana's Seed Boutique since. We still have this pipe and wish to return it to it's rightful owner. Does anyone know where we can contact this Thick Smoke person so that we can facilitate this return?

The information that we have on this pipe is that it originated from a company called Blown Away Glass and was left with us by a person who's ic handle we believe was called 'Bromd' (who is no longer a member of this site).

This pipe has now been in one of the cabinets in the Amsterdam shop for well over a year without being sold so we need to make space for more saleable items and return the pipe to it's rightful owner.

Thanks!

*here's some pics of the pipe taken May 26, 2005.

Pic for date reference:

hey resinryder....well, it was originally listed at 450 euros, which is approx $550. After about 6 or 7 months we reduced the price in hopes of attracting an interested buyer. Many would come in the shop and ask about it, but we couldn't reduce the price lower than a certain point in order to meet the consignment it was left at.

It is a beautiful pipe...really, the pics don't do it justice....the colors in the ribbon/wavy piece sparkle and is quite stunning, glass is thick, honestly, I have no idea why it didn't sell in all this time, especially after the price was lowered to 350 euros (approx. $430). :yoinks:

This pipe was the 3rd place winner in the 2004 Cup, if you have a copy of IC Mag you can find it in the winner's list at the bottom page 46.

That would be Thursday bartender. I still don't know much Dutch,
it is an extremely difficult language to conquere, 6 years now and I still
don't speak nor understand much of it, not enough to converse anyway.
Some words I know the meaning of, but putting them together in their proper
grammatical way....hmmmm, a bit too complex for me.

That's exactly what it has been in....a glass cabinet. They are huge floor to ceiling glass cabinets in the shop.

Evidently a member named Thunderchyld who claims he was with Bromd when they entered the pipe in the 2004 420 Cup {in TS's behalf} says this pipe actually belongs to the studio he manages (Blown Away Glass). I know from what Thunderchyld stated to me in PM that he is in fact one of those two fellows that entered the pipe. He also mentioned that it might be a nice gesture to give the pipe to Soma, but I'd like to publicly hear this from Thunderchyld here in this thread, or if he wants to pick up the pipe, or whatever is to be done with this pipe to be stated here.

Thanks,
dg

After a certian time frame....one can come to conclusion that the pipe must go to the hands of one , Ehonda187..........:joint:

Thanks for that ehonda, we have that info already, just waiting
for Thunderchyld to confirm the final dispursement of this now infamous
but unsold pipe.

I think Thunderchyld should consent to having it put up for auction at seedbay and then the money go to a pot friendly charity like Norml or something.

Just my :2cents:
