Come on! I'm a nice guy. Read my past posts, I don't trash talk people -- but the original post must have been meant as a joke because no one is dumb enough to think that leaving the lights on too long might actually be bad for the plants.

What's to fear, hermies or a reveg that wont noticeably develop for another week??

Who knows, it might actually be advantageous to kick the lights to always on for the last 4-5 days. The plants might add quite a bit of weight from all that extra light.

Leaving the lights on a bit too long ONE DAY before harvest won't hurt plants. Anyone who has grown knows that.

as claude hopper noted above, i by mistake left 4 1000watt hps lights on above my plants for a weekend (60hrs straight) in the middle of flowering. i think it was day 32-35. Those plants now ARE noticeably bigger than my plants in the other room (same strain) that the timer didn't crap out. Im not sure if the quality will be better since i can't cut them down for another 10 days but i am so eager to find out. i checked them all for hermies and so far none. what i do notice is that there was a little more vegetative growth around the buds, leading to more weight and a little more frostier a few days later. alsp, the leaves got lighter than all my other plants from i guess being in overdrive.i guess it stressed out the plant, and the plant responded.
weird huh?

Sigh, another myth believer that leaving the lights off for 48 hours does anything. Does nature turn the sun off 48 hours before harvest? You guys need to stop believing this s***

As others said no you haven't done anything wrong things will be fine. And purchase a $10 timer from your local hardware store wtf!!??
