So... since I didn't score tickets to last nights show and many of you didn't either, I'm wondering if there's anybody out there that has some fond memories that they'd be willing to share?

I heard the show at O2 was great ~

February of '75 @ The Garden in NYC
Stairway to Heaven tour and so the stage backdrop was a sheer black
curtain hung from above with hundreds of twinkling lights (stars) on it.
22K+ fans and Zeppelin did 3 encores, the crowd cried out for more.......

The last I heard plans for any upcoming Zeppelin tours were canned.
Has anyone heard any different?

All I've heard is the same. Plant needs to accept the rock god within him and ditch Krauss already...

OK, so I cannot technically say LZ, but I did manage to see Page/Plant Walking into Clarksdale tour in 98. Of course they did a bunch of LZ songs, mixed inbetween the new album. Since the Unledded success in 94/95, they did some songs unplugged, some close to the original sound. And of course, no Stairway or Kasmir by that point. (BTW Thanks for butchering that classic a la GODZILLA, mr combs...I'd much rather hear the original in concert than that crappy remake..ok, off rant)
The show was in Pensacola, and the crowd was a nice ecclectic mix that spanned generations. Even when I got my tickets, the line was so long, and so many folks had stories of previous shows, an actual HAMMER OF THE GODS floating around the ticket line, and folks just giddy about the event.
I cannot front, I do like the Raising Sand album. But it would be nice to see THE rockers back out there on tour again...

Oh lord, I am so stoned, I just had a sick mashup moment... Raising Arizona Sand..with Carter Burwell, AK, and RP doing the soundtrack...A twangy masterpiece waiting to be born! :) Damn, this Lemon Skunk is messin wit me :)

Here is a wonderful cover of LZ you may be interested in. Personally I like the cover more, but i'm a biased tool fan.

Haven't seen them live but would like to, though they're a few down on my list of bands I would kill to see.
