LED ventilation

Im doing a jardin dr120 4x4x6.5 probably with a growblu apollo 180x3 Ive done some looking around and the jarvin dr120 recommends 120 cfm. I took a look at the ventilation thread but some of those stats are not designed for LED's. My orignal plan was just the second pic on that thread but I saw the cons.
Ok so part of LED's practicality is that it directs most of the heat upward not down right? I was thinking just chambering off my tent above the light and using a small intake from the grow chamber and another intake on the light heat chamber. That way I wont be pulling as much dry air onto my plants and will be keeping a lot of the heat out of the grow chamber.

yep heat rises IMHO if your using LED, watt? I don't think they get that hot.. so in a tent I would get a small cfm inline fan plug it into a art-dne and a little ducting here and there you should be good to grow..hope this helps.. peace

I am currently in the process of building a new room which will be using 840w of led panels . Now my room is a bit larger and a little irregular shaped as it was designed to keep res's and other equipment out from under foot but has a total volume of 480 cubic feet and presently till I can get the lights , dehumidifier and circulation fans I wont be able to tell if there will be a major temp shift between lights on and off. I have a few friends growing In basement rooms with leds and they have found they are getting major temp shifts between lights on and off one in fact had a temp difference of 84 lights on and 68 lights off, which caused major condensation problems till adding heat so do a dry run with base equipment first you may find a simple 85$ temp switch and a 40$ duct booster fan will be all you need to exhaust stale air , or you may find you need to add night time heat have decent day time heats and can increase your grow by running a sealed environment with co2 supplementation.
