For several years, I have been investigating and working with LED grow lights. I have been very disapointed in the quailty and output. (for the review on this LED lamp click here)
With the invention of the 3 watt LED, the future is going to change for growers.
*days in 12/12 = 26
*media = potting mix with added perilite, earth worm castings, topped with bat guano high N and high P.
*magnesium supplied = epson salts.
*micro nutrients = peter's professional 20/20/20.
*strain = unknown, possibly Subcool Astro Boy.
*grow style = mini bush in 6" containers.
*lamp = Diamond Series - Extreme 3w LED Technology 200W
This is the first grow with this new lamp. So at this point, it is anyones guess how this will end. Intially, I am extremely pleased with the results. The reduction of heat and stress from HID is proving the biggest advantage. The plants seem to love that. One other value is there is no IR detectable heat signature.
I tried to get pics of the two different stages of this lamp, but the differences did not show.
