LED Lighting Question.

I'm doing a PC grow only with two little plants and don't really see myself getting something bigger due to constraints. I've been reading into the LED but pulling up limited information

I'm running a 26w CFL and if I try putting a 2nd one in the case temps can go beyond 100 degrees..so my other idea was to go LED

I thought this might be good for what I want to do

Small only uses 5w but can't figure out if that will be enough light for two plants. I do plan on getting the remote if anyone else thinks this light might work so I can change it from blue to red. Anyone else have some suggestion on LED lighting or what I should be looking for?

LEDs are the future but, the future ain't here yet. I'd look to your ventilation or lack thereof, to solve your problem. Is your intake area double the size of your exhaust? How strong is your fan?

Well, it's a PC case...it's 2 80mm fans with about 1300rpms each. Where the CD drive bays used to be it's been packed with styrofoam and I've made nail size holes along the entire frame to allow as a passive intake...there's a passive intake on the bottom of the case that was designed for a fan but can't mount one there due to size restrictions so..yeah I'd assume it's double the exhaust but still..case gets mighty hot....

Nail size is a vague term. Just for fun, I measured a finishing nail at a dia of 1.5mm. This has an area of 1.77 sq mm. Your fans have an area of 10,048 sq mm which requires 20,096 sq mm of intake. You'll need over eleven thousand holes, 11,354 to be precise.

Sounds to me like you're seriously choking the cab. Try looking through this microRU - Mad Russian Micro Genius he's running a 70 watt HPS in a space less than half your size.

...um wow lol thanks so much yeah..I guess I need to entirely revamp my fan work then..figure out something..I still got one female growing very well so I'm focusing on keeping her in prime condition wow I think I'll just cut out the entire front of the PC box to allow ventilation to go through
